Hunting for wild animals and the pursuit of deer and goats by predators remain the main themes of rock art, in some places they are supplemented by single images and whole lines of camels. Images of entire scenes from the lives of people inhabiting this area make up a large group of Tamgaly petroglyphs. The style, quality and content of the early Iron Age petroglyphs are heterogeneous, because they were created by different peoples (Saki, Yuezhi, Usuni, Xiongnu, Syanbi), which replaced each other in Semirechye in view of numerous movements.
