A new season of open-air skating will open this weekend for residents and guests of the capital city. The EXPO Open-Air Ice Rink, which capacity makes up 200 people, will operate on the territory of the Exhibition Complex from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The 1,300-m2 mirror-like ice rink rests at the foot of the most distinguished and most visited sights of the capital city - Nur Alem Sphere, which will also welcome its visitors on these holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m.
The Museum of Future Energy will delight and surprise with its newest interactive game devices and related developments devoted to the energy of space, sun, wind, water, biomass and kinetic energy.
Free entry to the ice rink, skate rental, catering and underground parking for car owners are provided for the convenience of visitors.
Furthermore, a solemn ceremony of lighting the country’s main Christmas Tree will take place on the EXPO territory on December 18 at 6:30 p.m.
The New Year’s lighting ceremony will really take you to a winter fairy tale, where the Father Christmas and Snow Maiden will congratulate each visitor on the New Year’s Eve and fairy-tale characters will show delightful performance for children. Finally, the EXPO Complex will be illuminated with the festive fireworks.
