On September 3, within the framework of the VI Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the National Company “QazExpoCongress” and the “Roscongress” Foundation took place.
The ceremony was held in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar as well as the Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the WEF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov. The event was also attended by the Member of the Board of Directors of “QazExpoCongress” NC JSC, Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Torebayev and the Chairman of the Management Board, Director of the “Roscongress” Foundation Alexander Stuglev.
The agreement implies the establishment of effective communication between the expert circles of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.
“I believe that this agreement will lay the foundations for long – term cooperation with our Russian colleagues and will consolidate key parameters and principles on which further cooperation in key areas of economic development will be built,” Kairat Torebayev stated.
“With our Kazakh colleagues, we plan to develop international-level communication platforms, new long-term partnerships between representatives of business communities, as well as conduct a dialogue on cooperation in the investment and financial sphere,” Alexander Stuglev stated.
