QazExpoCongress National Company JSC and the Eurasian Economic Commission signed an agreement on organizing and holding the Eurasian Economic Forum on December 10, 2021, in Nur-Sultan. The Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of QazExpoCongress NC JSC – Vladimir Lyutov and Director of the Protocol and Organizational Support Department of the EEC – Daniyar Turusbekov, signed the document.
The Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF) is held annually, alternately in the states of the Eurasian Economic Union, based on the decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council dated October 11, 2019. The Forum is timed to coincide with the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council scheduled on December 10 in Nur-Sultan.
The Forum is aimed to develop the economic cooperation between the member states, the formation of cooperation ties between business entities and the achievement of a synergistic effect from combining the investment and innovation potentials of the Union countries, the development of the export potential of the EAEU states.
The Forum is expected to become a high-quality platform for the presentation and positioning of the Union as a regional association of economic integration and will contribute to the development of effective interaction of entrepreneurs in the EAEU space, as well as inform the general population about the Union activities.
The Forum will consist of exhibition and business parts. The main topics of the business part are the most relevant and demanded by business issues of integration processes in the EAEU, including those of particular interest to the Republic of Kazakhstan, improving cooperation ties in the Eurasian area.
The main goal of the exhibition part is to stimulate the development of networking among business society of the Union in order to establish links between production enterprises of the EAEU, including for the creation of jointly manufactured products, as well as to create opportunities for organizing and supporting the export of Eurasian products to the markets of third countries.
It is assumed that the exhibition part of the Forum will include industry expositions with the participation of market leaders in priority areas of activity of the Union countries.
