On February 20th the National Pavilion of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the EXPO 2020 Dubai World exhibition welcomed its millionth visitor who is a 38-year-old resident of Dubai, an entrepreneur Mahmoud Al Burai.
According to the guest himself, he has never been to Kazakhstan and is would be very happy to have the opportunity to visit the country.
«My friends recommended to visit Kazakhstan pavilion. They told me it’s one of the best at EXPO. I have never been to Kazakhstan and was really impressed by the pavilion. Especially I liked the show with the robotic hand, it is very spectacular and emotional, and the national orchestra in front of the pavilion performing pieces of music was also very exciting. I am very happy that I will get to visit your country», – said Al Burai.
On behalf of the Kazakhstan pavilion and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the millionth guest was congratulated by the Vice Prime-Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UAE Madiyar Menilbekov, Chief International Participants Officer of EXPO-2020 Dubai Omar Shehadeh, Commissioner General of the National Section of the Republic of Kazakhstan at EXPO 2020 Dubai Allen Chaizhunussov.
Mahmoud Al Burai received a gift certificate for a free tour of Kazakhstan for two people. Flight tickets and the tour to Kazakhstan are provided by the largest Kazakhstani airline company Air Astana and Kazakh Tourism National company.
EXPO 2020 World exhibition is taking place in Dubai from October 1st, 2021 until March 31st, 2022 and is a first EXPO exhibition in the Middle East region. The theme of the exhibition is Connecting Minds, Creating the Future. Based on information from the EXPO 2020 Dubai Organizing committee 13.5 million people visited exhibition as of February 15th, 2022. Around 8 thousand people visit the Kazakhstan pavilion daily.
The Kazakhstan pavilion also attracts visitors with its World Painting art project that received World Guinness Record for the most people in online video chain using and passing a paint brush.
The Kazakhstan pavilion is also quite popular among business. Throughout EXPO the pavilion plans to have around 30 business events such as conferences, forums, and B2B meetings.
