On March 24, with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dubai, the National Pavilion of the Republic of Kazakhstan at Expo 2020 Dubai World exhibition hosted the presentation of Green Disruptive Technologies. The event was organized by the National State-owned Enterprise “National Center for Technological Forecasting”.
The purpose of the event was to open new areas of partnership between Kazakhstan and the UAE by attracting potential investors, exporting Kazakhstani technologies and developments to the Middle East countries.
During the event, 4 unique technologies in the field of solar energy, electronic industry, food safety, and medicine were presented. These technologies may be of interest to potential investors in terms of efficiency, profitability, and competitiveness of the end products.
Thus, Silica Metals company presented to the attention of the participants the technology for efficient production of polysilicon for the needs of solar energy and the electronics industry. This technology can significantly reduce the cost of production of solar panels and semiconductors by reducing the cost of silicon substrates.
A representative from LED System Media LLP spoke about the revolutionary new nanophosphoric LED lamps for use in greenhouses and agriculture. Such lamps will allow farmers to increase yields by 30% without the use of chemicals since the emission spectrum of LED lamps is very close to natural sunshine. Unlike the traditional lamps used in greenhouses, LED lamps are much more economical.
Diamed LLP presented two technological developments of Kazakh scientists – an amplifier for PCR tests and unique PCR tests for diagnosing a wide range of diseases. New amplifiers are more compact, mobile, and affordable compared to similar devices from other manufacturers. Moreover, domestic PCR tests are identical to world analogs in terms of their quality and time for determining the reactions, but at the same time, they have a lower cost and are more affordable.
The event was attended by representatives of government agencies and businesses of the UAE, potential investors, and entrepreneurs.
