First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Company “QazExpoCongress” Daulet Erkimbayev held a meeting with a delegation from China headed by Ma Fengmin, Financial Director of the China Foreign Trade Center.
During the meeting the parties discussed issues and prospects of cooperation and interaction in the exhibition industry of the two countries, including the possibility of holding industry exhibitions in Kazakhstan, namely at the International Exhibition Center EXPO, which has a certificate of the Global Association of the exhibition industry UFI.
Cooperation between the parties in the field of exhibition activities will open new opportunities for the development of the exhibition industry in Kazakhstan, which will give a significant impetus to trade and economic relations with China.
“We see a high potential for the development of the exhibition industry and trade relations between the two countries. Our company is ready to cooperate and assist in the implementation of joint projects on the territory of the business center EXPO”, – said the first deputy chairman of the Board of JSC “NC “QazExpoCongress” Daulet Erkimbayev.
It should be noted that Kazakhstan is actively building up the position of exporting goods to China, including through e-commerce on major marketplaces Alibaba and JD.com, where national pavilions are open. Today on Alibaba platform 7500 domestic goods are presented, on JD.com there are about 30 items of Kazakhstani products, which are in demand among 1 million subscribers of the marketplace from China. In addition, our country annually participates in the import exhibition in China, where domestic enterprises present products of the food industry and agro-industrial complex. Participation in such exhibitions is supported by the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Kazakhstan.
