From September 22 to 24, 2021, the International Specialized Exhibition on Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking “Kazakhstan Machinery Fair” and the “Week of the Manufacturing Industry of Kazakhstan” International Industrial Exhibition have started at the “EXPO” International Exhibition Center in Nur-Sultan city.
The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Kazakhstan organized the event.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Roman Sklyar examined the exposition on the day of the official opening.
The leading projects in the field of industrial development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries will be presented in the IEC EXPO main exhibition hall. At the exhibition with an area of 6 thousand square meters, more than 200 companies from Kazakhstan, Russia, USA, Japan, Great Britain, Sweden, Switzerland, China, Denmark, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany will demonstrate the latest products in the field of mechanical engineering, mining and metallurgical complex, chemical industry, woodworking and furniture industry, construction materials production and water industry.
Such companies as SaryArkaAutoprom, Agromashholding, Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan, KazAzot, Tengizchevroil, Vericut, Mitutoyo, HEXAGONMI, ESAB, Grundfos Kazakhstan, QuantRobotics, Kazakhmys, Penetron-Kazakhstan, ArcelorMittal, Kulan Oil, KSP Steel, HeidelbergCement, Lamad, AMADA, Herrenknecht AG, Kazakhstan Electrolysis Plant, KELET, Almaty Heavy Engineering Plant, W&T Group and others among the exhibitors.
Within the collective stands, enterprises of the Russian Federation the Republic of Bashkortostan, Udmurt Republic, Sverdlovsk and Penza regions presented their products.
Moreover, on September 22, IX Forum of Mechanic Engineers of Kazakhstan have started and become the main communication platform for finding solutions for the prominent issues of the machine-building industry. Within this Forum, a plenary session is held attended by the members of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as sectional sessions in oil and gas engineering, automotive, mechanical engineering technologies, agricultural and electrical engineering.
More than 30 side-events will be held in total within the business program, including the conference “Condition and prospects for the chemical industry development in the Republic of Kazakhstan”; a meeting of the Kazakh-Austrian business council; the state meeting on the actual issues and prospects of the water supply and sanitation systems development in settlements; round table meeting on mining and metallurgical complex development in the Republic of Kazakhstan; “Self-regulation in the construction industry. Challenges and Innovations” meeting of the expert community.
The development of the manufacturing industry is one of the priority directions of the state’s industrial policy. Holding annual events in such a format contributes to creating the necessary conditions for the technological development and increasing competitiveness of Kazakhstani enterprises; expanding the industrial cooperation with the regional and international partners; developing export potential and attracting foreign investment.
It should be noted that the events at the “EXPO” IEC are held in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological standards including social distancing, the use of individual protective means and the admission of visitors through the Ashyq application.
