On February 2, 2022, World Painting art project of the National Pavilion of the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded a Guinness World Records. The official ceremony took place at the Kazakhstan Pavilion.
The World Painting art project represents a canvas – a prototype of the planet Earth, on which, with the help of a brush and paints, visitors of the Kazakhstan pavilion from all over the world left their strokes. The size of the canvas corresponds in length and width to the reduced physical parameters of our planet.
The main idea of the painting is in sync with the theme of EXPO 2020 Dubai “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. The goal of the art project is to unite people living on our planet in one work of art located in the Kazakhstan Pavilion. The painting symbolizes such values as peace, unity, harmony and friendship. The project was organized by DPARTNERS company.
To date, more than 1900 visitors and guests of the pavilion from 193 countries of the world have left their “mark” on the painting. Among them were world celebrities such as Hollywood actress Bai Ling, American professional boxer Roy Jones, Kazakh director Timur Bekmambetov, Russian singer Valeria, Kazakh professional cyclist Alexander Vinokurov and others.
The art project was awarded the Guinness World Records certificate for the most people in online video chain using and passing a paint brush.
