Today, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin got acquainted with the main activities of the National Company “QazExpoCongress” during the visit.
The Astana International Financial Center, the Astana Hub International Technopark of IT Startups, Astana IT University and other organizations successfully operate on the territory of the EXPO Business District. Among the facilities there is a modern business center of class “A” which houses 25 companies including AIFC residents, development institutions, enterprises in the field of education and other lessees.
Moreover, the main attraction of the capital is located on the territory of the complex – the NUR ALEM Future Energy Museum, which is visited daily by more than 500 people.
Business and entertainment events are held on the site of the Congress Center; the International Exhibition Center “EXPO” which is the largest among the Central Asia countries has become the main venue for holding international and national exhibitions.
It should be noted that since 2021, the International Exhibition Center “EXPO” has been included in the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry “UFI”, which provides a unique opportunity for Kazakhstan to enter the world calendar of exhibition events.
Moreover, the company has a pavilion “Kazakhstan” on its balance sheet, which is one of the most visited objects on the territory of the Exhibition of the National Economy Achievements in Moscow.
In view of the closure of the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 Dubai, the expositions of the Kazakhstani pavilion will be transferred to the pavilion at VDNKh and to the NUR ALEM museum.
“Currently, the facilities of the EXPO Business District are fully occupied, and next year the company will reach full self-sufficiency and ensure the maintenance of the infrastructure of the complex without allocating funds from the state budget”, – said the Chairman of the Board of NC “QazExpoCongress” JSC – Allen Chaizhunussov.
Summing up the results of the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin gave the relevant instructions to the National Company “QazExpoCongress”.
