“National Company “QazExpoCongress” Joint-Stock Company was established in accordance with Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 11 dated January 15, 2013 “On the Establishment of “National Company “Astana EXPO-2017” Joint-stock Company”.
The main goals of the company establishment were:
To date, the first goal – the preparation and holding of EXPO 2017- has been achieved, the exhibition has been successfully held. Thus, the further goal is the sustainable development of the infrastructure of the heritage of EXPO 2017, and, in the present, the EXPO Business District in the interests of Astana city, Kazakhstan and the world economy as a whole.
The EXPO Business District is a modern business cluster of the capital. Its favorable location, walking distance to the largest shopping malls and hotels of the city, close proximity to the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport and the “Nurly Zhol” railway station, as well as many other advantages create the most attractive place for doing business.
The EXPO Business District is open for mutual cooperation. It places ultra-modern Class-A business center, the Congress Center and the EXPO International Exhibition Center for holding congress, exhibition and trade-exhibition events at the highest level.
In addition, JSC NC “QazExpoCongress” is the main operator of Kazakhstan’s participation in the 2021 World EXPO in Dubai.
