On June 24-26, the international automobile exhibitions Automechanika Astana and Futuroad Expo Astana 2021 were held at the EXPO IEC, Nur-Sultan, opening a new exhibition season in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
For three days, residents and guests of the capital were pleased with a rich exposition and an eventful program, premieres of passenger cars produced in Kazakhstan, test drives from leading car dealerships, shows of exclusive tuned cars. More than 4,500 professionals and motorists attended the event this year.
“Already, the number of visitors significantly higher than in previous years to epidemiological constraints that allows us to think that the Central Asian market is recovering, and this innovative complex we can bring more new projects and jointly develop Nur-Sultan as the site of the largest forums and exhibitions”, — said the Director of the organizing company “Business Media Central Asia” Alex Matveyev.
50 companies from Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan took part in the exhibitions. The best examples of commercial, bus and road construction equipment were also presented at the stands of Futuroad Expo Astana participants.
It is worth noting that the multifunctionality of the EXPO IEC made it possible to hold some of the exhibitions in the open area.
Thus, at its street stand, the AllurAuto dealership center presented the premiere models of Kia passenger cars (Rio, Rio X, Cerato, Soul), Chevrolet (Malibu, Trailblazer, Tahoe) and JAC (iEV7S and S3 electric cars). The open exposition was supplemented by the KARCHER company and the participants of Futuroad Expo Astana-Virazh LLP and Eurasia ST LLP, demonstrating the best examples of commercial vehicles. In total, more than 100 units of passenger, cargo, commercial and road construction equipment were presented at the site.
Since the exhibitions were held in a pandemic, much attention was paid to taking care of the health of all attendees. All necessary security measures were observed at the events, including social distancing, the use of personal protective equipment, disinfection of premises, as well as the admission of visitors through the “ASHYQ” application. Moreover, all visitors and participants of the exhibitions could optionally undergo free rapid testing for COVID-19, which allowed to create an additional level of security.
