The Capital Day holds special significance for residents and guests of Astana. This year, it will be celebrated with a vibrant cultural and entertainment program at the EXPO Complex.
On July 6, the EXPO Complex will host an Open-Air concert and drone show, starting at 6:00 pm. Performers include Kurmash Makhan, Nurlan men Murat, Ninety One, Orda, Kalifarniya, M’Dee, Nazima, Alpha, T’OI, Imzi, Ayau, and Bonapart. Admission is free.
On July 7, visitors to the EXPO Complex will enjoy the Zamanaui Dombyra show-concert dedicated to National Dombra Day. The show will feature performances by Kalifarniya, Aktoty Bolshova, Korkyt folklore ensemble, Serper virtuoso dombra ensemble, SAZ ethno-group, Steppe Sons, Assyl, T&Y, Art-Dombyra, Aldaspan, and DJ Godunov. The event starts at 6:00 pm. The aforementioned concerts are organized by the Akimat of Astana.
Additionally, QazExpoCongress National Company has prepared an exciting program. From July 6 to 8, visitors can enjoy a crafts fair and participate in diverse master classes at the Nur Alem Museum of Future Energy. Moreover, the BuySpace Fair, featuring over 60 entrepreneurs and craftsmen, will showcase a wide array of offerings including national jewelry, ethnic designer products such as headwear, clothing, decorative items, eco-bags, handmade candles, and toys. The highlight of the celebrations will be live artist performances on the summer stage, starting at 7:00 pm on July 8. Performers include Elvira Nurguzhina, Madeniet Esengeldiev, Dina Zhurabekova, Nurdaulet Arystanbekuly, Asel Nurtazina, Alikhan Dyusenbay, Azamat Bersembayev, Ilyas Kabdyray, Madi Kadyrov, and Akbikesh. Admission to the concert is free.
Additionally, the EXPO Complex offers a rollerdrome open Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and Friday through Sunday from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm. Roller skate rental is available for 2,000 tenge, and entry is free with personal equipment.
