On December 5, the long-awaited opening of the IV season of outdoor ice skating will take place in the capital on the territory of EXPO Business District.
EXPO outdoor ice rink with a capacity of up to 200 people is located at the foot of the brightest and most visited attraction in the capital – the NUR ALEM Future Energy Museum. The area of the ice cover is 1300 square meters.
Everyone will be able to visit the ice rink completely free of charge, the opening hours of EXPO ice rink are from 12:00 to 22:00 daily.
A warm locker room is provided for skaters. You can also relax by visiting the cafe near the ice rink, where you can warm up with hot tea or chocolate and have a full lunch. For the convenience of visitors, there is a 24-hour underground parking for 3 thousand cars.
You can visit the ice rink with your own skates, or rent them on the spot. For just 500 tenge, you will get sharpened skates for a 2-hour session.
And, most importantly, this year, due to the epidemiological situation, the rules for visiting the rink have changed. Guests are required to observe the mask mandate and social distance. Skates and all sports equipment that is issued to the guest is dried after each use and treated with an antiseptic.
