The Days of Kazakhstan tourism were hosted on October 24-28 at the Republic of Kazakhstan National Pavilion at the EXPO-2020 Dubai World Exhibition. Both business meetings and cultural events took place within the event.
The performance of the Sazgen Sazy Folklore and Ethnographic Ensemble, which played national kuis and world hits on the folk instruments created a unique national flavor and atmosphere as well as massive walking parade on the territory of the exhibition that especially delighted visitors of our pavilion.
The WorldPainting a unique project made a special impression on tourists, where everyone could put their fragment on canvas and unite all visitors with the common idea – to display the preservation of the four elements on the planet.
An exhibition of the famous artist and the anti-nuclear movement activist Karipbek Kuyukov, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan, also took place within the event.
The business program was no less intense. The investment roundtable of tourism sector projects for large Arab companies, holding companies and investment funds happened with the support of the Kazakh Embassy in the UAE with the participation of JSC “NC “Kazakh Tourism”, JSC “NC “Kazakh Invest”, KIDF, JSC “NWF “Samruk-Kazyna”, the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Dubai, as well as the business community. The focus of their attention was on investing in tourism industry and real estate.
Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Company “Kazakh Tourism” Kairat Sadvakasov introduced a rich touristic potential and promising investment projects in the tourism sector of Kazakhstan. Arab investors were particularly interested in resort tourism in the Aktau city and mountain skiing in the Almaty region.
All business events at the site of the National Pavilion of the Republic of Kazakhstan are aimed at developing international relations, tourism and investment potential, whereas a few cultural events are aimed at familiarizing with the customs and traditions of Kazakh people.
