There are mass festivities in honor of the Nauryz Holiday on the territory of the EXPO Business Center. There is a large ethno-aul with colorful decorations and a unique entertainment program.
The cultural and entertainment program includes performances by Naz Dance Group, Art Dombira Music Group, Korkyt Ethno Ensemble, Arna and Royal Quartets, Shabyt Dombrist Ensemble and other entertainers. In addition, there will be a flash mob of Kara Zhorga dance. Guests will be welcomed by batyrs and berkutchis, while children will be greeted by animators.
There are national games: asyk atu, tug-of-war, as well as sports competitions – soccer freestyle, archery and power isometrics with the participation of four-time world record holder in power numbers, the Guinness Book record holder and six-time record holder of Kazakhstan Sergey Tsyrulnikov.
Nauryz Meiram festival of nomadic civilization will open at 1 p.m. on the open area near the monument to the 25th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It will also be open on 22 and 23 of March from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the framework of the festival competitions in national sports among residents of the capital will be held.
The Future Energy Museum will feature performances by ethnic ensembles, dance groups and a theater troupe, who will perform the Nauryz musical, a story about folk traditions and rituals. In addition, guests will be treated to bauyrsaks and Nauryz kozhe. On public holidays, the entrance to the museum is free.
Eastern fair Nauryz Bazary will also open today at 1 p.m. at the EXPO International Exhibition Center. No less extensive holiday program is also organized on the site of the exhibition center. Guests will be greeted by costumed characters: merchant, batyr, berkutchi and khan. Market stalls are decorated in oriental style, where merchants will present a rich selection of new collections of ethnic clothing, jewelry, ceramics, metal, felt and silk items, souvenirs.
In addition, visitors will be able to buy fresh produce from the best farms and producers from different regions of the country at the best prices. Oriental cuisine festival awaits real gourmets. The fair will be open on 21 of March from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on the 22nd and 23rd of March from 09 a.m. to 6 p.m.
