The national company “QazExpoCongress” invites residents and guests of the city to celebrate the holiday “Nauryz Meiramy” on the territory of the EXPO complex. Festive events will be held from 21 to 23 March. In honor of the Holiday of Renewal, a large ethnic village with bright decorations and a unique entertainment program will be organized on the territory.
Cultural and entertainment program includes performances by dance group“Naz”, musical group “Art Dombyra”, ethnic ensemble “Korkyt”, the “Arna” and “Royal” quartets, “Shabyt Dombra” ensemble and other artists. Besides that, will be organized a flash mob of the “Kara Zhorga” dance. Guests will be met by batyrs and golden eagle hunters, and children will be greeted by animators.
National games will also be held: asyk atu, tug of war, sports competitions: football freestyle, archery, as well as power isometry with the participation of four-time world record holder in power competitions, The Guinness Book record holder and six-time record holder of Kazakhstan Sergey Tsyrulnikov.
But that’s not all. Performances of ethnic ensembles, dance groups and a theater troupe, which will perform the musical “Nauryz”, are planned at the Museum of Future Energy. In addition, the traditional holiday treat – Nauryzkozhe and baursaks – will become obligatory. Entrance to the museum from 21 to 23 of March will be free.
An oriental bazaar will be organized at the EXPO International Exhibition Center, which will be held from 21 to 23 of March. An equally large-scale festive program will also be organized here. Guests will be greeted by costumed characters: merchant, batyr, golden eagle hunter and khan. Trade shops will be decorated in oriental style, where merchants will sell food products, and artisans and craftsmen will present their handicrafts.
